The first and only Diamond oc I'll make. XD This is my sad lonely cursed bab Hope Diamond. Originally the design for her was going to be made by someone else but I couldn't wait and just drew her myself so the design the person made for me will be meant for her original formation design while this one is a post bubbled and freed formation design(I'll explain more on that later.)

Backstory: Hope Diamond was formed by accident by Yellow Diamond and ended up with the purpose of being a weapon against treasonous/traitorous gems due to her apparent ability to have misfortune fall upon any gem who got close to her. This caused Hope to be sad as she didn't want to see such harm befall others and would constantly bring her to tears and grief when a gem would be brought to her court. Eventually Yellow tired of Hope's emotional state and had her poofed having found an easier way to deal with traitors. Hope was bubbled immediately and soon forgotten about until some centuries a misplaced sapphire pearl wandered into Hope's old court and stumbled upon the bubble. She soon manages to pop the bubble and Hope's gem falls into the pearl's hands though do to the size she ended up more hugging it in her arms. The pearl feels an overwhelming sadness from her gem and soon is in tears, the teardrops fall onto Hope's gem and triggers her to reform. Her gem glows and flies out of the pearl's hand who just stands there in wonder watching. Hope soon completely reforms and lands in front of the pearl looking down at her with a sad distressed expression. "You must leave. Great harm will come to you if you stay." She says very quietly before turning away and walking off. The pearl watches her for a second seemingly making up her mind about something and soon follows after Hope. Hops looks back at her slightly surprised. The pearl smiles kindly at her and then bows. "My Diamond, do not worry about me I will gladly risk harm to serve you."  Hope is struck silent by her words then slowly lowers her hand to her for her to stand on. "Are you sure, I do not wish for harm to come to any gem?" The pearl looks at her hand before moving onto it and being picked up so they can be face to face. "I'm completely sure, I was created with a peculiar streak of luck. I'm sure that help somehow." Hope tilts her head slightly wary of this claim but soon hears a noise, a few gem guards were approaching after hearing them. She quickly makes a decision that would save them both and runs off to the nearest escape pod leaving homeworld and her past life behind.
